Katalitik Co-Investment Grant Program: First Application Cut-Off

08.09.2025

The Innovation Fund has completed the first cut-off of applications for the AI Co-Investment Grant Program - Katalitik, which aims to support startups in Serbia developing AI-based solutions.

As of September 5, a total of 58 applications were submitted. In the next steps, an evaluation will be conducted, and projects that meet the requirements will proceed through the process, ultimately leading to a funding decision.

The Katalitik Program is based on the principle of co-investment. The Fund provides grant funding of up to EUR 200,000, while startups are required to secure an investment from investors in an amount equal to or greater than this. The minimum amount of a qualified investment is EUR 50,000.

Please note that applications for the Katalitik Program are open on a rolling basis, with cut-offs organized every three months. The next cut-off is scheduled for December 5, 2025.

To provide more detailed information about the program’s conditions and procedures, the Fund is organizing online info sessions. The sessions will be held on September 16 and 30, October 14 and 28, November 18, and December 2, 2025. Participation is available via the following link (Meeting ID: 858 1782 2194, Passcode: katalitik).

The program is intended for micro and small enterprises registered in Serbia that are majority-owned by the founding team, are no older than ten years, and have ready investment agreements.

Startups that meet the eligibility criteria can apply with their solutions and take advantage of the Fund’s support for faster development and commercialization of AI-based innovations.

Financing for the Katalitik Co-Investment Grant Program is provided by the Republic of Serbia (Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation), through a World Bank loan and implementation support by both the World Bank and the European Union. The program is part of the "Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship Project," dedicated to strengthening innovative entrepreneurship and scientific research.
