Serbia research, Innovation and Technology Transfer Project

     

The ”Serbia Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer Project” aimed at fostering cooperation between the public, scientific research sector and the private sector, in order to commercialize scientific research and improve the transfer of technology. The project is funded with EUR 2.5 million from the European Union Pre-Accession Fund (IPA) for 2013.

The project consists of three components:

  • Component 1: Establishment of a central Technology Transfer Facility;
  • Component 2: Technical Assistance to the Innovation Fund for the design of the Collaborative Grant Scheme Program with relevant monitoring indicators and independent annual evaluation of the implementation of the World Bank;
  • Component 3: Development of a strategy for the development of the research and innovation sector together with the infrastructure development plan for the scientific research sector, including an action plan. This component is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, with the technical assistance of the World Bank.

The project started with the implementation in February 2015 and the realization ends on January 31, 2019.
