The Serbian Science Fund launched the first public call
Six million euros for youth research projects
The Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia launched, marking 100 days of work, the first program for financing research projects of young scientists worth six million euros.
The aim of the Program for Excellent Projects of Young Researchers (PROMIS) is to support the ideas from all areas of science and to involve young scientists in scientific research.
Through the training of young PhDs for managing and applying for projects at the national and international level, within this program, the work will also be focused on strengthening of professional capacities at an early stage in their careers.
The total fund is EUR 6 million or EUR 200,000 per project for a period of two years.
The funds are intended for all areas of science, and a competition for young researchers' projects will be open until September 2 this year, according to a statement from the Science Fund.
