Project „Bridge”
Promotion of Economy, ion and Culture in order to Advance Cooperation between the Kingdom of Denmark and the Western Balkans Countries.
On November 5th and 6th, a promotional manifestation of economy, innovative projects and culture was held in Denmark, with the goal of improving cooperation between the Western Balkan countries and the Kingdom of Denmark. Project „Bridge” is a joint initiative of Embassies of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia in Denmark, symbolizing the „bridge“ between the participating countries and their cultures.
During this event, several presentations and workshops were organized, and participants from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia had the opportunity to present projects from the region to representatives of Danish public institutions, corporate agencies, companies and other business entities. The forum outlined activities of the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) and illustrated several successful examples of cooperation, some of them being Carlsberg and Grundfus.
In order to promote economic, innovation potential of Serbian companies and, Ljiljana Kundaković, Interim Managing Director of the Innovation Fund, Republic of Serbia, PhD, presented progress on implementation of EU funded projects in Serbia, Innovation Serbia Project and Western Balkan Enterprise Development and Innovation Facility (WB EDIF).
Besides the participation of officials from Vejle region and municipality, the Minister for European Affairs of Kingdom of Denmark, Nikolai Vamena, and Director of main office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Christian Dons Christensen, attended the event. The forum’s guests of honor were representatives of embassies of Croatia and Slovenia.
