Balkan Venture Forum Belgrade, November 22 and 23, 2012

BALKAN VENTURE FORUM (BkVF), organized by Balkan Unlimited Serbia in partnership with Europe Unlimited will take place on November 22 and 23 in Belgrade. This event has the goal of introducing innovative regional entrepreneurs to sources of capital from all over Europe.

The investment forum “Balkan Venture” will present innovative companies to active investors and promote innovation, entrepreneurship, willingness to invest and access to financing in the Balkans. The conference will gather 40 global and regional investor, amongst which are the CEOs of Nordeus and Limund, RSG capital and Eleven, while also providing the attendees with the chance to listen to discussions of the investors, such as investment house Intel Capital, Crimson Capital and international financial institutions (EBRD, EIF).

The main topics of the Forum are investment perspectives for the region of Southeast Europe, practical knowledge for entrepreneurs regarding investment readiness, financing innovation and several other related subjects. The forum will allow the authors of innovative projects, young enterprises and enterprises in development to talk directly to potential investors from IT, ICT, general technology, energetics and other tech areas. In the supporting program, direct meetings between investors and enterprises will be organized.

BALKAN VENTURE FORUM (BkVF) is an investment forum which is being organized in Serbia for the first time and has, as such, taken an active role in development of entrepreneurship, innovation and models of alternative financing in the region. BkVF has the goal of stimulating start-up growth, hi-tech entrepreneurship and enterprises with high growth potential, as well as their internationalization, therefore allowing a direct approach and cooperation with investors from Europe, America, Israel and other parts of the world.

This event has a special competition for innovative start-ups which will get the chance to present themselves to potential investors, and participants from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Turkey are expected: http://www.balkanventureforum.org/competition/
