Project VIBE - Venture Initiative for the Balkan Europe was implementing in period from January 2013 to December 2014.

The intention of this program was to create business environment for innovative entrepreneurship development, as well as to provide access to finance to SMEs and provide an effective coaching to the new entrepreneurs and along the way develop an effective network of new companies and investors, including a date base of all the participants in this process. This should be further enhanced by jointly organizing regular coaching programs and investment forums, like the Balkan Venture Forums in Sofia and Tirana, where investors are expected to get closer to the SMEs and prepare and make more visible the SMEs and spin-offs to private capital investment home and abroad.   

The project was approved in the Fourth call for Transnational Programme for South Eastern Europe, and the total value of the project is around EUR 1.7 million out of which 85% is financed by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA ).

The Innovation Fund has become an equal partner in the program with 20 partners from 12 countries, of which 6 member states of the European Union.
